Clemson Portal Target Headed Elsewhere

Brad Brownell has missed on one of his portal targets.

Former Purdue-Fort Worth point guard Jalen Jackson announced a commitment to Butler on Tuesday, choosing the Bulldogs over the Tigers and Tennessee. 247 Sports ranks him as the 10th best point guard in the portal.

Jackson averaged 19.2 points per game last season as a junior, shooting 48% from the floor. He shot 26% from three-point range, which was down from the 41% he shot from deep as a sophomore,

The 6-foot-2, 200-pound guard started his career at Illinois-Chicago before transferring to PFW for the past two seasons. He will have one season of eligibility remaining.
