One of Brad Brownell’s portal targets will play for an ACC foe next season.
Former Valparasion forward Cooper Schwieger announced a commitment to Wake Forest on Wednesday. Schwieger visited Clemson last weekend.
As a sophomore, the 6-foot-10, 235-pounder started 34 games, averaging 15.8 points and 7.8 rebounds per contest. He shot 48.9% from the field and 30% from three-point land.
For his career, Schwieger has averaged 14.5 points and 6.7 rebounds per game in 65 games.
Brownell did land arguably his top portal target on Wednesday, with former Nevada big man Nick Davidson announcing a commitment to the Tigers. Davidson was ranked as the top center in the portal.
