Chauncey Wiggins has found his new home.
The former Clemson Tigers will transfer to ACC rival Florida State to play for new head coach Luke Loucks. Wiggins entered the portal last week.
As a junior for the Tigers this past season, Wiggins averaged 8.3 points, 2.9 rebounds and 0.7 assists per game. The 6-foot-10, 216-pounder played in all 34 games (26 starts) and averaged 23.6 minutes per contest while shooting 43.8 percent from the field and 36.5 percent from 3-point range.
In 2023-24, Wiggins appeared in all 36 games for Clemson (18 starts) en route to the Elite Eight, averaging 17.7 minutes, 5.4 points and 2.1 rebounds per game while shooting 44.2 percent from the floor and 34.9 percent from 3.
As a freshman the season prior, the Grayson, Ga., native played in 27 games and averaged 8.9 minutes per game with 2.4 points, 0.9 rebounds and 0.4 assists per contest.
Wiggins was rated a three-star prospect in the 2022 recruiting class. He was the No. 183 overall prospect in the country for his class, according to the 247Sports Composite.
