Zephyrhills (Fla.) Wesley Chapel four-star cornerback Isaiah Bolden committed to Oregon in April but is still hearing from several other schools.

One of those is Clemson, which gave him an offer back in April 2016.

“The DC (Brent Venables) texted about how I fit in,” Bolden told The Clemson Insider. “He sees me as a lockdown corner that fits the system.”

Bolden (6-2, 175) intends to use his official visits before he signs with his school of choice in December, and Clemson could get one of them.

“Yeah, official,” Bolden said when asked if he plans to visit Clemson.

What is he looking to get out of the potential official?

“If I see if I fit in,” he said.

Bolden named Oregon, Florida State and Minnesota as three of the other schools he wants to officially visit.

When he looks at Clemson as an option, a couple of things stand out.

“They win and they have fun,” Bolden said.

Bolden and his family have a good relationship with Clemson junior wide receiver Ray-Ray McCloud.

McCloud hails from Tampa, Fla., which isn’t far away from Bolden’s hometown.

“I know him through Jordan, his younger brother,” Bolden said. “Also my family is close to him.”

Bolden had been committed to Florida State since June 2016 before flipping his commitment to Oregon in April.

He is ranked by ESPN as the No. 24 cornerback and No. 186 overall prospect in the class of 2018.
