ESPN’s Pete Thamel joined College GameDay on Saturday morning and gave some bad news for Florida State regarding one of its star players on offense.
Thamel reported that wideout Johnny Wilson is out for the fourth-ranked Seminoles’ game against Syracuse.
Wilson is dealing with a lower body injury.
“The other big ACC news today, Johnny Wilson, Florida State’s leading receiver, is out today against Syracuse,” Thamel said. “That’s a big loss for the Seminoles. He leads them in both yards and catches.”
Wilson, a junior, has 20 catches for 357 yards and two touchdowns this season.
FSU hosts Syracuse at noon on ABC.
