Former Tiger Finds Newest College Home

After entering the transfer portal for a second time, a former Clemson offensive lineman has found his newest college home.

Paul Tchio announced via social media Wednesday that he has committed to UMass.

Tchio played at Clemson from 2020-21 before transferring to Georgia Tech, where he spent the past two seasons. He did not see game action in 2023 after a 2022 season during which he only saw action in two games due to injury and redshirted.

A former four-star prospect from Milton (Ga.) High School, Tchio played 80 snaps over nine games during his first season at Clemson in 2020.

In 2021, Tchio played 19 snaps vs. Georgia and played 33 snaps vs. SC State. He made his first career start at NC State, playing 42 snaps, and played six snaps vs. Boston College before playing one snap vs. Florida State.
