Clemson Basketball Lands Huge Transfer Commitment from ACC School

CLEMSON — Brad Brownell and the Clemson Tigers continue to excel in the transfer portal. The Tigers added a huge transfer Sunday from another ACC school.

Boston College guard Jaeden Zackery committed to Clemson Sunday. Zackery averaged 11.3 points for the Eagles last season.

Clemson fans should be very familiar with Zackery, he ate the Tigers up twice last season. In their Jan. 13 meeting at Littlejohn Coliseum, he scored 18 points on 8 of 12 shooting and had six assists, though Clemson won the game.

Zackery and BC avenged their earlier loss to the Tigers, as he dropped in 22 points and had three assists in an upset victory over the Tigers in the ACC Tournament.

A three-year starter at BC, Zackery averaged 11.3 points and 4.2 assists per game this past season.

This past season, the scored more than 20 points four times. He season-high was his 22 points against Clemson.

Zackery set a career-high 63 steals on the defensive end of the court, while also shooting 41 percent from three-point range.

The rising senior, averaged 10.4 points per game as a freshman and 10.7 during his sophomore season. He had 57 steals–then a record at BC–as a freshman and 48 during his sophomore season.
