Matt Luke and Clemson have already experienced a lot of success with offensive line targets in the 2026 recruiting class.
The Tigers have already landed four blue-chip prospects. Four-star Braden Wilmes was the first to commit, late last year, then three more jumped on board last month. Four-stars Adam Guthrie, Grant Wise and Chance Barclay all announced commitments that weekend.
However, Luke is still looking to add as many as two more offensive linemen to the class. One of the top targets is four-star Leo Delaney.
The 6-foot-6, 300-pound recruit visited Clemson twice during the spring. Delaney was on hand for the Elite Retreat and then returned in late March for a spring practice. He is also scheduled to be on hand for the Tigers’ big official visit weekend from May 30 to June 1.
“The environment was insane,” Delaney told The Clemson Insider after the Elite Retreat. “Everything coach Swinney talked about felt so real, and it seemed like a place I know I’d be developed as a man and player and most importantly love being at. Coach Swinney talked a lot about his plan, how nothing is falling off, and how he believes in all of us and will be committed to us if we go there.”
While this is a recruitment that the Tigers are certainly in, whether they can land Delaney is still to be determined. Tennessee, Wisconsin, Penn State and Michigan are all heavily involved as well.
Delaney is fresh off of a visit to Wisconsin over the weekend. He was at Michigan the weekend before. He is expected at Penn State this weekend. Like Clemson, Tennessee and Michigan are expected to get officials. It’s very likely his official visit schedule will be expanded.
Delaney is looking at making a summer decision after he’s taken all of his officials.
247 ranks him No. 63 overall and No. 5 among all interior linemen.
