Big Honor for Future Clemson Kicker

Big honor for a future Clemson specialist.

This week, talented Tiger kicker commit Nolan Hauser was named one of 16 finalists for the 2023 N.C. Mr. Football award, which is presented annually to the state’s high school football player of the year.

The winner of the award will be announced in December.

One of the longest-tenured commits in Clemson’s 2024 recruiting class, Hauser gave his verbal pledge to the Tigers back in November of last year. Both of his parents played sports at Clemson, while his older sister is currently on the Tigers’ women’s soccer team.

Hauser, a senior from Hough High School (Cornelius, N.C.), is the No. 3 kicker in the country for the 2024 class according to both 247Sports and the 247Sports Composite.

Last month, Hauser broke the national record for the most career made field goals by a high school football player when he booted No. 57.
